Will the market keep improving?
A very good question and one that will have different points of view depending on the commentator.
We have certainly seen a marked increase in the volume of sales and an increase in the prices being achieved. This as previously reported has been off the back of brisk investor activity. It is my firm belief after 33 years in the industry that investors are the key to real estate activity.
Threats to this momentum of course are legion, unemployment, tax policy & threats to negative gearing being amongst the factors that could impact on recent conditions. It is fair to say though that all things remaining equal we should see continued improvement in trading conditions.
